1Kanji Reading
「山」に のぼります。
- CorrectやまCorrect — 「山」 is read 「やま」, meaning mountain.
- WrongかわThe reading for 「川」 (river), a different kanji.
- WrongうみThe reading for 「海」 (sea).
- WrongそらThe reading for 「空」 (sky).
Explanation. 「山(やま)」 is an essential N5 kanji meaning "mountain".
2Orthography
あには まいにち しんぶんを よみます。(しんぶん)
- Correct新聞Correct — the proper kanji spelling of "newspaper".
- Wrong新聴Not a real kanji combination.
- Wrong新分「分」 means "divide/minute", unrelated to "newspaper".
- Wrong親聞「親」 means "parent/close", a different kanji from 「新」.
Explanation. "Newspaper" is written 「新聞」; both kanji are basic N5-N4 characters.
3Context Vocabulary
